During this three hour workshop you will learn the secrets of good breath support, how to tell if a technique is right, the influence of consonants and vowels on singing, causes and solutions to vocal strain and off-pitch singing, how to increase range and power, stamina and confidence while maintaining and enhancing your own unique style, fast-acting vocal warm-ups and invaluable performance tips.
Jeannie Deva will lead the entire group through vocal warm-ups and other exercises balancing practical application while increasing your understanding and certainty of your voice. If time permits, she may personally coach several of the workshop attendees, so if you would like to benefit from her expertise in this manner, please arrive prepared with a song or, if you are a spoken word artist/actor, a monologue.
