Veronica Ballestrini - Grand Prize
With one modest dream and an Internet connection, the enthusiastic yet mature-beyond-her-years teenager from Waterford, Connecticut has raised more than a few eyebrows with her self-made success story. The staggering numbers on her social network sites are proof that Veronica has that special ability to connect with people. On Myspace alone, that number totals more than 120,000 friends, 7.5 million page views and 11.5 million plays of her music. On country-lifestyle portal DigitalRodeo.com, Veronica is one of the most in-demand artists on the entire site.
"What Veronica has done without a label, without television and with virtually no press is absolutely astounding," says Digital Rodeo Director of Marketing and Promotions John Pyne. "She is one of the most self-motivated artists I've ever seen and knows how to use the online tools at her disposal exceptionally well. It just so happens that she's also a very talented young singer, and I personally think there's no end to what she can accomplish."

David Jeremiah - Second Place
David Jeremiah is a Grammy-nominated songwriter (Mary’s Song) with three top ten hits (You Changed My Life, You Must Have Known, Must Be You) who spent most of his career writing for the gospel and contemporary Christian markets.
"I went through some pretty tough personal times and started to write my thoughts and feelings into songs," David says. "As it turns out, people liked them." David’s songs tell heartfelt stories wrapped with deep human emotions in sometimes humorous packages. Actress and philanthropist Betty White says "David’s humor and the way he puts words together in his songs is life changing. His voice is like pure gold."

Brinn Black - Third Place
The past four years she has accomplished more than she could have ever dreamed of. She has released an album and had her single “Sweet Virginia Sunset” played on over 150 stations around the world, toured across the nation, and been able to share the stage with some of country music’s biggest stars! When Brinn says "my life is truly blessed" she's right.
Brinn Black's powerful voice sounds almost impossible coming from her sweet face but she has harnessed her gift well and can sure rattle windows whenever she sings. Her voice and caring personality have attracted quite a following as she steams ahead at full-speed to make a difference and have a whole bunch of fun doing it.
